About the Course:

Course Breakdown:

Module 1

In the first module, we lay the foundation for transforming your love life. You will learn about common relationship patterns and the pitfalls of getting involved with emotionally unavailable partners. We introduce Schema Therapy, a powerful approach to understanding and healing deep-seated relationship patterns. You’ll discover the concept of schema chemistry and how it influences your attraction to potential partners. The module concludes with an introduction to The Red Flag Project’s 4-step plan for transforming your love life.

Module 2

This module delves deeper into understanding how schemas can prevent you from listening to your intuition. You’ll learn a systematic approach to identifying and understanding red flags in relationships. Our goal is to equip you with the tools to spot red flags early and make informed decisions about whether to continue or exit a relationship. This module is essential for anyone looking to save time and emotional energy by avoiding unfulfilling relationships.

In Module 3, we provide you with a comprehensive dating plan designed to keep your guardrails up. This plan helps ensure that your healthy adult mode, rather than your schemas, guides your dating decisions. We cover the six stages of dating, from creating your online profile to navigating the first few dates and early relationship stages. You’ll also learn strategies to avoid dating burnout and maintain a healthy, balanced approach to dating.

Module 3

Module 4

Module 4 focuses on navigating the complexities of established relationships. Whether you’re dealing with relationship avoidance, contemplating a breakup, or deciding whether to stay or go, this module provides actionable plans and insights. We introduce a 5-step plan to help you assess your relationship and make informed decisions. You’ll also learn what a healthy relationship looks like and how to gauge your partner’s willingness to change.

In this special feature, Dr. Gladstone, Dr. Corry, Jackie O Henderson, and Gemma O’Neill come together for an in-depth roundtable discussion. This dynamic session provides an opportunity to dive deeper into the topics covered in The Red Flag Project. Our experts and course creators share their professional insights, personal experiences, and practical advice on navigating the complexities of romantic relationships. Through candid conversations, they explore the fundamentals of Schema Therapy, identifying red flags, creating a healthy dating plan, and managing long-term relationships. This roundtable offers a unique blend of expertise and personal stories, making it an invaluable resource for anyone looking to build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Meet your Instructors

BSocSc(Hons), MSocSc, MPsychol(Clin), PhD

I have previously worked in mental health for 25 years as a researcher, academic, and clinical psychologist. I co-founded The Good Mood Clinic with Dr Gemma Gladstone, which focused on delivering Schema Therapy to individuals with mental health conditions and trauma. The Red Flag Project emerged from our work with women over the last 20 years. Gemma and I saw how Schema Therapy helped women change their unhelpful relationship patterns for good.  I truly believe that knowing and understanding your schemas is a superpower that every woman needs! Since then, I’ve pivoted again and now work as a schema therapist and dating/relationship coach with a big focus on helping MORE women know their schemas and transform their love lives.  If a woman has this knowledge, she can make different decisions for herself and dramatically change her relationship and life trajectory for the better - and that is what this fabulous collaboration with Besties is all about . Outside of work, I enjoy planning holidays, spending time with my three children, and discovering great breakfast spots.

Dr Justine Corry

BA(Hons), GradDip(Psychotherapy), Cert(ClinHypnosis), PhD

My professional career spans 25 years, having worked in clinical research, academia and teaching roles. I also worked as a clinical psychologist in private practice for many years specialized in using Schema Therapy, not only to treat mental health issues, but also to enhance relationships and maximize well-being. Throughout my career I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of people seeking help for all manner of personal and relationship issues. More recently I have pivoted towards delivering schema therapy-based online programs and services, including educational podcasting.  I am deeply passionate about the early prevention of intimate partner abuse and believe that everyone has the right to feel safe and secure in relationships. As a Therapist and Relationship Coach I love sharing my passion for Schema Therapy and especially focusing on helping women thrive and make informed and healthy decisions when dating. I’m delighted to be part of this wonderful collaboration and hope that The Red Flag Project will be a valuable and lasting resource for many women.
